I LOVE this Perfume which doubles as a “Pick Me Up” and I also LOVE double duty recipes.
I cleaned and re-used a 5 ml bottle (great size for your purse or travel) and put the metal rollerball on it. But you can use any size you have on hand. (See my Tip below)
Note: Because of the citrus essential oils in this recipe make sure your container is glass and you use the metal rollerball. Also, citrus essential oils are photosensitive so if you plan on being in the sun, make sure you’ve used it on the parts of your body that won’t be exposed to direct sunlight.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. It’s such a fresh scent.
Perfume Recipe:
5 drops Joy Essential Oil
15 drops Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
4 drops Lavender Essential Oil
1 tsp V-6 Oil, fractionated coconut oil, or your oil of choice of carrier oil (a light oil that absorbs quickly is best)
Directions:
Place the first 3 ingredients into your bottle and gently swirl to mix them completely before adding your carrier oil.
Note: It’s important to mix your essential oils together before adding to any carrier oil or product.
Add carrier oil and put on rollerball (as per directions that was provided with your rollerballs)
Make certain that your rollerball is secure and the cap is screwed on. Then gently mix the ingredients together by rolling the bottle between your hands, then turn the bottle over and repeat. You can also gently tip the bottle upside down and up again to gently mix your oils. Note: I believe it’s important to treat your oils gently so don’t aggressively shake them, gently roll the bottle to mix them.
Tip: When I make a recipe for the first time I like to make small batches, that way if I don’t like it I’m not out much product and I can gift it to someone that likes it.
