How to Dilute Thieves Household Cleaner


Thieves cleaner comes in a concentrated form. With one bottle of Thieves Cleaner, you can make about 29 – 16 oz or 473 ml. spray bottles using the medium de-greasing ratio.

There are approximately 60 capfuls (approximately 1.5 teaspoons or 1.5 teske) of cleaner in each bottle.

Light Degreasing Ratio

1 cap Thieves Cleaner to 3 cups or 710 ml of water in a spray bottle- Use the light degreasing ratio for mirrors, windows, or other delicate surfaces.

Medium degreasing ratio

1 cap Thieves Household Cleaner to 2 cups or 473 ml. of water in a spray bottle.

– Use the medium degreasing ratio for your everyday use, countertops, floors, sinks, etc.

Heavy degreasing ratio:

1 cap Thieves Household Cleaner to 1 cup or 236 ml of water in a spray bottle.

– Use the heavy degreasing ratio on carpet stains, NingXia stains, or any hard to clean surfaces.

I prefer to use filtered or de-minalized water.
